1/100
Scale

Color Scheme: Delivery Colors

Composition: One Piece Aluminum Model

Dimensions: Length: 27.5″ (70cm), Wingspan 23.5″ (60cm)

Condition: Very Good

Model History: Produced in the 1960s
by M.M. Verkuyl, Holland. Acquired on January 30, 2006 from a
Seller on eBay. Since only two model makers produced metal models
of the 747, Fermo & Verkuyl, I was very, very happy to find
this nice Lufthansa 747-100. The Fermo models are nice because
of the polished wings and underside, but the Verkuyl models are
much more accurate. You can see this in the details. Take a look
at the small hump behind the upper deck of the model – just exactly
like the 747-100. Also, the engines are well done and Mr. Verkuyl
even placed the APU Exhaust Vent in the very end of the tail shown
in the second picture from the top. Once Again, Mr. Verkuyl has
done exemplary work!
