Model History: Produced in the mid 1950s by an unknown maker.
I was attracted to this model, not because of it’s quality – which
is on the lower side, but for it’s Livery. I have seen this Douglas
Livery in Early Design Concept Pictures. The use of the Script
"Douglas Eight" on the Fuselage and "DC-8"
on the Tail, plus the Distinct Window & Door Configuration
are Indicative of this Early DC-8 Design Livery. Acquired on September
9, 2002 from an eBay Seller.
